Veteran Pro Basketball Coach and former NBA player Paul Mokeski will enter a summer league team into this years 22nd Annual KPA Vegas Pro Summer League (July 6-8 at the Las Vegas Convention Center during the NBA Summer League). Mokeski played college basketball at the University of Kansas before going to the NBA. Mokeski played 12 seasons in the NBA for Houston, Detroit, Milwaukee, Cleveland, and Golden State. His teams advanced to the playoffs his last 9 years, and twice made the Eastern Conference Finals. Last season he was the GM/Head Coach for the Nevada Desert Dogs in the NAPB. He has been an assistant coach in the NBA with Dallas and Charlotte. He also has previously been a head coach in the GLeague with Reno. He was also an Associate Head Coach at Rio Grande and Fort Worth in the GLeague. Coach Mokeski also was a head coach in the NBL Canada with Moncton.

Players will get two practices with Coach Mokeski and play at least 3 games for him (more pending on tournament play). All will take place in front of overseas pro coaches coaching the other teams, as well as pro scouts from all over the world. This is a great opportunity to learn the pro game from a coach who has unlimited knowledge of the ins and outs of the pro game, and is also a great resource for any player that plays for him.
